Workshop Source Apportionment in Milan 2019
On February 20th and 21th, 2019 the workshop “Source Apportionment: new techniques and frontiers of application” will be held in Milan, organized by the national scientific association Società Italiana di Aerosol (IAS), under the patronage of ARPA Lombardia. The term Source Apportionment (SA) refers to a large set of modeling, statistical and computational techniques aimed at studying the emissive source-receptor system, and at identifying and quantifying the contributions, from different sources, to the mass and chemical composition of an air pollutant, in a defined time frame and geographical area.
The Workshop stems from the need, identified by the IAS, to create an opportunity for updating on innovative techniques of SA and scientific exchange at national level, among professionals who, in different capacities, use SA techniques or are interested in deepening their knowledge. The Workshop will host both oral presentations and exercises, which will allow to deepen the main technical aspects of the topics in the program.
TCR Tecora® participates as a sponsor of the event.
TCR Tecora®, Italian company leader in the production and sale of sampling instruments for the study of air quality, is attentive and interested in issues related to the monitoring and analysis of air pollutants, which are also the input data of receptor models for source apportionment studies.
TCR Tecora® will be present during the 2 days of the Workshop.
