Experience that empowers learning
Experience that empowers learning
After years of experience in manufacturing systems for atmospheric pollutant sampling, and thanks to our ongoing collaboration with laboratories and research centers, TCR Tecora® shares its expertise to support the continuous training of of industry operators and to ensure the professional growth of its internal staff.
Internal training is essential to maintain high-quality standards, update methodologies, and pass on consolidated know-how to the next generation of technicians.
Training activities for personnel monitoring emissions from stacks are essential to ensure the quality and reliability of the final data, because:
🟤 They certify the operator’s ability to perform tests in compliance with the relevant standards;
🟤 They provide skills to manage variables not directly controllable by the technician, such as: process type and structural characteristics of the sites; accessibility and methods for transporting materials to the sampling point; weather conditions.
Personnel involved in monitoring often work at heights above two meters, an activity defined as “work at height” under Title IV, Chapter II of Legislative Decree 81/08.
Specific training is essential to assess risks, implement the necessary safety measures, and ensure protection at every stage of the work.
The facility remains always available to laboratories and research centers for instrumental quality checks and metrological verifications.
TCR Tecora® has created a fully equipped area for the training of operators involved in field sampling and measurements, where the following activities take place:
🍃 Training for Personnel Certification
Theoretical modules on particulate monitoring using isokinetic sampling techniques;
Multiphase sampling;
Sampling of gases and vapors using manual techniques.
🍃 Practical Modules
Field exercises on proper sampling planning;
Setting up the sampling line.
🍃 Proficiency Testing
Determination of the k factor of the Pitot tube;
Determination of flow velocity and rate in ducts according to UNI EN ISO 16911-1:2013.
🍃 Comparative Tests and Development of New Approaches
Tests on sampling lines for traditional parameters and those under development at the European level, thanks to participation in CEN/TC 264 “Air Quality”.
🍃 Metrological Verification
Checks and inspections on Pitot and Darcy tubes.
